We went to see Papaw and Nana and have Christmas with them. Here we are at Granny Martin's house, playing outside. It was a beautiful day!

Playing Basketball at Granny Mart's

We're working on our basketball skills. Daddy worked on his, too... it was very funny. (Daddies can't jump.)

Jeremy and I

This is my cousin Jeremy. I love Jeremy! I don't get to see him very often, but when I do, we have lots of fun.

Bach? Beethoven? No!! Baby!

I like to play the piano. It makes all kinds of great noises, I mean music.

Daddy's Hat

Daddy's hat is fun. It's a little big for my head, but it sure is cute on me!

Our Babies' First Christmas

These two beautiful babies had a great Christmas. They were a little confused at first, but it didn't take long for them to enjoy all the presents! Miss Valerie will be one in a few weeks, and Abigail will be one on February 1st.

Daddy Kisses

Daddy kisses are yummy! I don't give kisses out very often, so this was a special treat. Of course, he did pass his vicious case of bedhead to me, so I guess we have some special bond.

Christmas at the Martin House

Christmas was so much fun! We had so many presents... it took us most of the morning to open them. Santa must have thought we were very good girls. (Mama said she didn't mention the whole present-destroying event to him, or the Abby-bopping, or the ridiculous amount of times she had to tell us to clean our room. We owe her BIG TIME.)

Christmas Eve at Granny's

Here we are having Christmas Eve at Granny & Papa's house. We had a big dinner and we got to open some presents! (No, the Martins did not reproduce again... that's our cousin Valerie, who belongs to Aunt Kara and Uncle Phillip. Thought we snuck one in there, didn't you!)

'Twas two days before Christmas..

'Twas two days before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was crying or whining about... The presents were all wrapped & placed under the tree with care, until a certain two-year-old figured out they were there! Mommy thought they were safe 'cause they'd been there a week, but apparently someone decided it was time for a peek. Visions of boarding school and groundings danced through Mommy's head, until laughter bubbled up and came out instead. After all, she could make Daddy wrap this time around, assuming the tape and scissors could be found... So, without so much as a fuss or a fight, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!

My first ponytail

It's official... it took two years for me to grow enough hair to put in a ponytail. Funny, but it also took two years for me to decide I liked pacifiers, too. Hmm.

Sleepyhead

Daddy is in China for a few weeks. While Daddy is gone, Mommy watches all three of us. Sometimes, she rocks all three of us to sleep at the same time! When that happens, Mommy sends Hannah to bed first, then scoots out from under me so she can put Abby in her bed. This time, I thought I was going to wake up, but I fell back asleep sitting up in the recliner instead.

The silly pillow

Granny calls this the silly pillow. Abby and I LOVE the silly pillow. We like to throw it and sit on it and drag it around. Mommy keeps mumbling something about how the silly pillow belongs to her, but we really don't pay much attention.

My first gymnastics competition

This was my first real gymnastics competition. We had real judges and everything. I looked very cool in my uniform with my hair all done up and sparkly. I did very well, I placed 6th overall in my age group!! Everyone got trophies, so I was very excited. I was also very tired on the way home.

Weekend with Papaw

We went to visit Papaw and Nana after Thanksgiving. It had been a long time since we had been there. We had a great time!!!

Our first gingerbread house

We had a lot of fun making the gingerbread house. Mom was slightly concerned about our sugar levels when we finished, but we were fine.
